I was going thru the channels on tv this morning when I came across Jimmy Swaggerts show. I did pause hoping for some good news, but again hes selling something. Now the Lord has come to Jimmy and told him, in a vision according to Mr Swaggert, to sell a study guide for the bible every time he appears in front of a tv camera.

OH brother, Now the Lord is an mba.

The problem with the Religious Right is that it is not the Right Religion. Love God, not Greed.

It has amazed me how our country has elected a group of officials that do not have the slightest idea of what is happing. I mean, if you want someone to paint your house, don't you hire a painter?

In the GOP way of thinking, no . You hire an MBA who is afraid of heights. After the job is looked at, they say you need a lot of wood work to repair the house before painting. Really, where? " don't worry, we'll find it." Hmm... Where was the wood work done? " Well, we thought it was there, but don't worry we'll find it." OK,ok paint the house.

Then when the MBA hires a bunch of illegal aliens to do the work and paints the house the wrong color, they want to change the contract. So they hire a group of lawyers & accountants to help change the contract to the color the house is now painted. OK, ok just paint the house!!

Opps, I almost forgot the support the painters need. They need to be housed, feed and you have to supply benefits for them, alltho still the same illegal aliens.

Now try to remember that all you wanted was your house painted.

The MBA has left your house, in his BMW, money in hand on his way to the Dominican Republic with some Viagra and has left you with:
a yard full of illegal aliens, that you are supporting, looking at a house that is painted the wrong color and paying a kings ransom for.

Thee only difference between this story and the current administration is that none of the illegal aliens died while painting you house.

Next time hire a REAL painter. Or vote for a real leader

Why the current admin. Needs to spy on American people? I have often wondered what the Bushites rules are for making someone a terrorist?

corruption seems to be the mainstay for the Bushys. They are so embroiled in their own power game that they will do anything to keep it, as with their money and wealth. They have become accustomed to this lifestyle that they would conceive anything to keep it.

Lying, Spying, taking lobbyist money, spying on anyone that is against any of the radical right ideals, tampering with voting machines, voting place irregularities, no record for voting machines, conspiracy against American people, conspiring to with hold information from the American people, bribes, special favors for buddies and ignorance.

Now all they want is the supreme court to ban a woman's right to choose? I am against death, for embryos as well as convicted felons, but for a woman's right to choose. When are they going to take away our right to free speech, the right to bear arms, voting rights and freedom?

When you go to war and kill other people and do it in the mane of God, you sound like a terrorist. They are killing people in the name of Allah? Bush does it in the name of God?

The FAR, FAR Right

They are now running paid ads for thier supreme court choice.

I beleive this ia a first, paid ads for a supreme court justice. These are the same people that hold the bible in one hand , with the other raised toward the sky, preaching pro life and pro war in the same breath. Living in the ivory towers on the hill, like the days of the Romans. As long as I follow thier ideas and morals, I'll be of the fold.

A fold I do not desire. I am a child of God, saved by Jesus. I have the freedom of choice, a free thinker and a desire to do good.

And when you desire to take away those things, like fredom of choice, you are feeling very unsecure about your ability to keep control of your own life. To regain control you attempt to control everyones rights, so if everyone belives as you then you must be normal.

Want something that is far better?

Talk with your soul, it's a direct line to God.

We all have to make decisions and choices; right and worog; left and right , right?

Everyday, wheather we want to or not, we HAVE to so to be able to function.

Now take that energy that we spend making decions (just sitting and thinking is using your energy) and tweek it a little and accept only positive decidsions, choices. m...............

Does it take anymore effort to do that tweek? no, period.

God has given us the same choices and how we deal with them will determine our end.

Christmas card list

We ( or I ) do not send out many cards, few if any. So for some reason I have decided to send cards (Holiday type) of the dogs; in front of the fire place with their Christmas stuff on.

No, reALLy.Make the cards at home with a good photo and some ink for paw prints," pawgraphs" and run with it.

I will call them "PawGraphs", or "PawGrafs" and how about a kit for the onwer (god knows I love my dogs more than most people I know). I even thought of a family picture, but the dogs are cuter.

Just something to inject some fun into the holidays. They are getting to be so "HallMark".

And if this idea is a bad idea, I can always blame the dogs, lol.

Thanksgiving Day......The name says it all.

Thanksgiving Day is by far the most humbling of the holidays. The spirit of our freedom , the food, the people, interaction with family's and understanding of our god.

For the most of it all give thanks to what ever you think is just.

We are all God's children. The soul is the source that God has put into us, weather or not we like it, He has given us the freedom to make our own choices. And that is the reason that Jesus was here, to forgive us from our own bad decisions and to promise us everlasting life.

The radical right has forced their morals on us. If we don not believe as them then we are outcasts, for them I will pray.

The religious right believes in life and death (pro life , pro war, pro death penalty) and for those too, I will pray.

As a parent and your child performs badly thru his or her life, would you condemn them (your child) to an everlasting life in Hell? I didn't think so.

So give everyone the right that God has given us, to live our lives (make choices) as we see fit. Don't condemn me because I do not believe as you do. God gave me the choice and you can't? I thought so.

God's army is a peaceful army. The strength is in numbers. If all God's children choose not to fight, what would the chicken hawks do? Then they would surly attack us and that is not of God's world.

I think that the religious Right only prays for the end of the world not to happen in their lifetime.

The idea of the Christian world is to believe in God and to spread the word. If you do that, my friend, then you are a Christian and a prophet. In God's world, no one of us is holier than our neighbor.

So, go into this world and spread the word. You are the only thing than can make difference in your world. Look in the mirror tomorrow morning (spend a moment, don't hurry) and ask yourself if God is pleased with you. You won't have to wait for an answer, its in your heart already.

If you pray for peace, it will come; if you pray for war it will come; if you pray for death it will come.

You get what you pray for. Amen

PS the hell with texas and they are still the 2nd largest state.

To Stand Tall. . . . . .

You first must serve your country, yes, in the military. I served (RA) for 2 years in the early seventies and "standing tall" was an attitude. You were a member in the worlds greatest army ready to defend this country. Period. Weather your were Special Forces or a clerk typist, you stood tall. Most of us volunteers to do this and still stand tall after separation form the service.

You stand tall when you're sleeping, sitting or any activity. You stand tall even when everyone else is standing or sitting.

So all you deferred folks with your 'support the troops' stickers, grab your duct tape and plastic and head to your basement, so real men and women can defend your sorry ass's.
