Terri Schivavo, GOP plays God, again

Thee GOP can have wars in the name of GOD, now they want to save life in the same name.

Typical GOP, do as I say not as I do.

Here is a post from WBAL TV Baltimore discussion group and this is the truth of the situation.

I am a believer in Christ, my savior and GOD. My believe says that I am here to serve god and I will go to heaven. My believe is that heaven is a far better place than this world. So why is the belief so strong to remain here? Because they do not truly believe in heaven. Would not like to move to someplace nicer, greater, then you live now?

I do not have any respect nor will I ever trust anyone from a red state or anyone that supports the current administration. Their color is red, but that can change as their wishes and desires dictate.

Nothing grows under a bush (except the deficit).

Congress, A new height of arrogrance

With a war going, record oil prices, record deficits, no help for health care or drugs and a recession looming because of oil prices, they (Congress) come back early from a 2 week vacation to get involved in someone's tragic family personal life.

I think Sen. Tom DeLay, is just another Anti-Christ from Texas.

This makes the former record for wasting time, the Clinton Impeachment Hearings, look like a game of' 'pick-up-sticks'.

Some one needs to pull the feeding tube (PAC money) from congress.

I can't help but smile when I think of those ****** in the RED states. I really do not honestly believe that anyone of them have any idea of what's going on in the world (outside of Kansas) .

Americian Republicans, another opinion.

As history proves, the greater and more powerful we (think) get, the greater the risk of destruction from inside. As we quest for more power so does our regard to destroy things that disagree with us. In the end the quest for that power makes an island.

In that, it may the blessing for the rest of us. They pass, old, frail and most likely depressed, for they die alone, surrounded by family of more power hungry family members in a fine house with ocean view (with a tall fence around it) waiting for the elder to die. As the family proceeds to retain all the power they circle the wagons, most time within individuals family's. As they do this, they again, isolate themselves as they proceed down the same path as their mentor, destroying everything that opposes them at every oppertunity.

Hell is for (they will return here in that "next life") of republicans. The War for God GOP. I used to be concerned, but now I am meerly amused. From now on anything that has to do with the GOP politics, I consider entertainment.

So grab a comfortable chair and the microwave popcorn and watch the movie. You know the ending, but the faces are different.

You would think we would like a different ending, but as I work toward meeting my maker, I will die with a smile. It is going such a joy to meet my savior.

In my opinion, The Gay GOP

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/7143421/

"'Nussle’s budget did not specify which programs would be hit by the proposed $69 billion reductions. But based on the House committees assigned to find the savings, the Medicaid program for the poor and elderly could be targeted for up to $20 billion in five-year cuts — more than double Bush’s plan — plus other reductions for student loans, welfare, farmers and veterans.'

“I’ll give you credit for being bold and aggressive,” said Rep. John Spratt of South Carolina, the budget panel’s top Democrat. He said the spending cuts “do a world of hurt, but in the end they barely dent this big deficit.”

The House budget also called for $106 billion in five-year tax cuts, about the same as Bush’s plan. In a nod to moderates, the House measure would give only $45 billion of those procedural protections from Senate filibusters that can kill legislation, though House leaders were aiming eventually to approve the full $106 billion.
Gregg’s budget would protect $70 billion in tax reductions."

We democrats should take amonth off and let the GOP pay the bills for the month.

Maybe the Gop should change the partys symbol fron the elephant to the SUV. Large apperence and very little content.

Or hummer2. Awful lot of blowing going on at capital hill.

Old School, Condition Red

I remember that when you heard someone say condition red, you freeked. Either the Russians were comming or there was a state of emergency.

So how did the GOP come to terms with being called red? Or accepting the honor of being from the RED States?

A small poll may suffice;

Why did the GOP accept the color Red as their representing?
  1. The color of 'W's' neck?
  2. The American blood spilled in Iraq?
  3. The budget deficit?
  4. The embarrassment of not finding any WMD?
  5. All the above.

Being a Democrat I know the answer, so all you yougins please email your answer to your congressmen.

And in my opinion;

The FCC is really red. REALLY, REALLY. Censorship for everything but the Viagra commercials.

Crawford Texas called the other day and they don't want their idiot back.

And in closing;

I really do not sleep very well at night anymore. On any given morning I could awake to another war that W has declared in the name of GOD.

Correct me if I am wrong, but isn't that what terrorists do ( create wars in the name of their God)?

If you truly supported the troops, you would have been one or are one now. So shove those pussified yellow ribbon's up your ass. Most of us know what they mean so stop turnin them sideways because you have a hard time readind them( will the A** word get me fined by the FCC)?

And you should stop worrying about SSI. By the time they get old enough to use it, the environment will be so bad they will have to use it on health care.

Getting attention

I just had a wonderful idea. What would corporate America do if tomorrow everyone that makes less than a 100k a year stayed home or called in sick.

A national sick day!

No limo drivers, teachers, construction workers, half the government, bank tellers, grocery store clerks, cabs, gas station attendants, busses or trains, and, God forbid, no 7-11s or gourmet coffee or fast food!

And then go to one of the many (?) parks or public libraies (?).

In other words, the whole frigging place would come to a screaming ass halt.

The good old days when the people ran the country.

Oh, just a fleeing thought.

As a famous person said when asked what they wanted on their tombstone, 'God damit, I told you so.'
